Learning Pet First Aid & CPR helps you know what to do and what not to do when your dog or cat gets sick, hurt, or needs time sensitive life saving measures.
Pet first aid training skills does not replace professional veterinary care, but it can help save money on vet visits by knowing how to manage injuries and illnesses or identifying a pet medical problem before it escalates to a life threatening situation when you are trying to get to a veterinary facility.
What You Need to Know About Kamp K9 Hawaii's Certified Pet First Aid & CPR Training
Kamp K9 Hawaii's Certified Pet First Aid & CPR Training course covers 9 core areas:
- Importance of learning Pet First Aid & CPR
- Handling ill and injured animals
- CPR/Rescue Breathing
- Wound Treatment
- Common illnesses for dogs and cats
- Hyperthermia (Heat Stroke) & Hypothermia
- Burns & Broken Bones
- Pet poisonings
- Pet health and wellness assessments
Each student will be required to demonstrate proper pet first aid techniques covered during training (online or in-person) and answer questions by the instructor in order to successfully pass the class and earn their offical certification.
Upon sucessful completion of the course, student will be awarded a 2-year certification in Dog & Cat First Aid and CPR.

Not a fan of taking online classes with strangers? Have a hard time finding a pet first aid course that works with your schedule?
Exclusive online training are private scheduled pet first aid training with the instructor. You'll have one-on-one interactive training during a scheduled time and date that works best for you and you'll have the instructors undivided attention.

GROUP TRAINING
Group classes are available for pet industry professionals, rescue organziations, pet-related clubs, or Law Enforcement K9 Handlers wanting in-house training for staff at their facility/place of business or online.
The instructor will come to your location and provide training to all registered and partcipating members.
Group Training Rates are applied.
- Please note, discount codes do not apply to group training as registration fee are already set at discounted rates.
Group registration should be submitted no later than two weeks before the date requested.
- We cannot guarantee last minute request dates due to our business and personal schedules.

Non-certification Specialty Classes
Non-certified specialty courses will soon be available for those interested in learning about pet first aid, pet safety, and pet wellness focus related topics.
Participants in specialty courses will not receive an official certification at the end of the course training, but will be awarded and receive a Certificate of Completion.
Class listing will be announced on our website, social media channels, and newsletter as soon as they become available.
Class Cancellation and Refund Policy
FULL REFUND:
Cancellations must be made no later than one week (7 days) prior to scheduled class date to receive a full refund.
PARTIAL REFUND:
Cancellations made less than 7 days before scheduled class date will receive a 50% refund.
NO REFUND:
Cancellations made same day as scheduled class date or a "No Show" for scheduled class, no refund will be issued.
All registered participants will be eligible to reschedule their training at no extra charge.
- A maxium of two rescheduled trainings will be allowed with no penalty.
